British Mother's Day

The British mothering Sunday in March 22nd this year and this is why I have made this card early in the eyes of anyone American...I'm lucky I get 2 Mother's Days ;) part of the perk of living so far away from home.
This card is for my Mum...the one who likes butterflies...you know who you are hahaha! (yes I know you are reading this too!)
Mother's Day is the day after my Niece Lauren's Birthday...Lauren has already seen her card thanks to Grandma tipping her off (ballerina below) so now it's Lauren's turn to call Grandma and tell her that her card is on my blog now ;) it's only fair! Hahaha!
I don't mind people seeing them before they get the cards as the photos NEVER seem to do them justice!
Here's what I used...
Lizzie Anne Designs Au Naturale set
Spellbinders Labels One
V-15, V-17, Y-17, YR68, 0 Copics
Patterned paper is Basic Grey
Shimmerz - Marigold
Prima Center kissed Ivory gem flowers
This was made with the Lizzie Anne template of the week which you can find here. I really enjoy doing these!

Lizzie Anne Design Challenge #22

I have been wanting to use this cupcake since I got it! This is for the Lizzie Anne Design challenge this week. The twist was to add some circles. This card was a challenge for me, I had to tell myself to stop - don't add anything else. I pat myself on the back for that but I am itching to add something - I don't know what but something! I'm not good at clean and simple - I need BLING! Hahahaha! i bet it has some added before this day ends :D

Lizzie Anne Design Challenge #21

Stamps: Lizzie Anne Blissful Blossoms & Celebrations Sayings
Cardstock: Patterned paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie 8x8 paper stack
Ink: SU Bravo Burgundy & Always Artichoke
The Ribbon is May Arts (I think) & I used the Marvy Extra Jumbo scallop oval
I colored in using watercolor pencils
This is for the Lizzie Anne weekly challenge. I love how they give you a layout and a twist! This weeks twist was to use flowers - I know how we are ALL longing for spring to arrive! Lets at least hope that the weather is nice next week for Spring break!!
